Help Families Transition into Shelter—Join FUMC's Turnover Team

FUMC continues to work in partnership with our local family shelter, Path Home. One of Path Home's greatest needs right now is for Turnover Teams—small groups of volunteers who help prepare rooms or entire apartments when families move out so new families can move in quickly.

Here’s the catch: Path Home often doesn’t know a room will need turning over until a family leaves. That means these opportunities can come up on short notice and are usually during the week.

We’re forming a FUMC Turnover Team—a list of volunteers who want to be notified when Path Home needs help on the quick. If you have some flexibility in your weekday schedule and a heart for hands-on service, we’d love to include you.
